So sorry to hear of Kathy`s passing away, our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family
I worked with Kathy at Nestle, she was always positive and fun to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
We had the pleasure of being neighbors. Kathy gave me the interest and passion for flowers. Heaven will now be a garden of love with amazing colors. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
We were saddened to hear of Kathy's passing. Our thoughts are with you at this very unhappy time.
My thoughts and prayers are with the McPhee family during this time, as well as with her longtime partner Walter Barber. Kathy was an amazing woman who always had a positive attitude and spirit. I feel blessed to have known her.
It was with great sadness that I read of Kathy's passing. She was such a caring person. Rest in peace Kathy. Your warm smile and bubly personality will be greatly missed.
We never had the privilege of meeting Kathy but came to care very much about her after hearing about her battle from a friend and in the newspaper. We decided to hold a fundraiser for her through my Zumba class, and we were all rooting for her! We were very saddened to hear of her passing. She has touched so many lives and leaves behind a legacy of courage and positivity.
With deepest sympathies, Kathy will always be remembered in our thoughts and prayers.
Kathy was dedicated, kind and upbeat. She was a pleasure to work with at Nestle. I always look for the McPhee sign when I drive to Hawkesbury and say Hello. My prayers are with the family.
Deepest Sympathy, Joan, Jean Anne and family. Kathy will be greatly missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Evelyn & Gerry
Memories of kindness and strength, God bless.
I was very sad to hear of Kathy's passing. Kathy was highly respected at Nestle and I knew her as a very kind and caring person to work with and to work for. She will be thought of with many fond memories.
Dear Joan, Jean Ann and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Kathy was such a kind and loving person, she will be missed by all! Our Deepest Sympathy!
To Joan, Jeananne and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Kathy was a sweet soul and she will be missed dearly. She never failed to come and speak to me when I came to Vankleek Hill for an event and I will remember that always.
Joan, thank you so much for your gift of Kathy to the world. We can't thank you enough, except maybe by being eternally upbeat and positive, no matter what. The world has lost a wonderfully unique soul in you, Kathy. It has been such an honour and pleasure to know and share some of my life with you. I will always think back with a smile to the times we spent with you and Walt (Gerline, Bubba) on Jekyll Island. I know that you will live on in everyone's hearts, long after the sadness passes.
I have known and worked with Kathy for many years. To me, Kathy was not just a boss, but a dear friend, a sister that became a part of my family. My family loved Kathy very much. We continue to have warm memories of the activities that she took part in with us. I remember when my 10 year old boy was 3, he said to me mummy, is Kathy your Sister?" I also remember her telling me one day not to introduce her to my family as my boss, but as my friend.
Kathy was best described as a happy, positive, sweet, social, and smart person. She was one of the kindest people in the world. Always bringing joy and trying to please, everybody around her. She was someone that appreciated a person and looked past you any faults or mistakes.
She taught me a lot of things. Many of which I continue to work with today. Whenever things are good, or bad, she would always say, "We are moving in a positive direction".
Kathy, although you are gone, my sister, your memories will live with us forever, and you will be missed.

Kathy and I worked together at Encore Gourmet.
Like in any work, some days were a little more difficult. On those days, Kathy would drop a little note on my desk to keep up the good work. She always made me feel better.
A few things she taught me that I will never forget:
* choose your battles,
* always look at the positive,
* don't look back, look in front of you.
Thank you Kathy for being part of my life.
You fought this disease wisely and positively.
I will never forget you, and the good side of this is that for you, now, it will always be Friday in heaven. So happy Friday, Kathy.

I had the privilege of doing my thesis with Kathy at University of Guelph and we had many good times with our small class of FACS 84 - Consumer Studies Food. In addition to being able to tell incredibly funny stories about all kinds of goings-on in her life, Kathy had incredible fashion sense. She made many trips to Montreal and always came back with some wonderful outfits. I will never forget her polka dot dress and tangerine shoes she wore on graduation day. We were blessed to have her in our lives and will miss her so much.
Our deepest sympathy to Kathy's family, a life taken at such a young age. She was a pleasure to work with at Nestle
