Carruthers, Doris Beverly At the Monfort Hospital on Tuesday, January 2,2018 Doris Carruthers (née Phaneuf) of Hawkesbury, Ontario passed away at the age of 71. Predeceased by her parents Roderick Phaneuf and Jaqueline Racine. Loving wife of 52 years to James Carruthers. Proud and caring mother of Kathy Fletcher (Craig), Janice and Kevin (Isabelle Comtois). Precious Nanny to Jenna (Kyle Murphy), Joey, Brittany, Courtney, Taylor, Kaylee, Camryn and her step-grandchildren Gabriel and Camille Dicaire. Great-grandmother to Lukas and Nathan. Dear sister of Don Phaneuf, Diane Hutt (late Robert), Beverly Chase (Rick) and Brenda Ricci (Ignazio). Predeceased by her brothers Lynford Phaneuf (Diane) and Rick Phaneuf (Diane). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. In respect of Doris's wishes there will be no visitation or service.
