Obituary of Joan Breeson

Breeson (née Farrier), Joan Ethel

Peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, October 7^th, 2023 at the Hawkesbury General Hospital, Joan Breeson of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Ken Breeson, her parents, Ethel and Charles Farrier as well as brothers Tony and Bernard. Survived by her brother, Peter (Lavina) Farrier. Loving mother of Peter (Karen), Janine (Donnie) MacDuff, and Tom (Trish). A proud and dearly loved Nana to Jenna (Christopher Newton), Christopher (Véronik), Chelsea (Trevor Smiley), Paul, John and Colin (Chiara). She was a cherished Great Nana to Mila, Avery, Avaleigh, Keagan, Jackson, and Ella. 

Joan had a love for knitting, crocheting, quilting and gardening. She enjoyed going for crafts at the United Church and would spend her time volunteering when she could. Joan was proud to call Vankleek Hill her home for the last 37 years. 

Family and friends are invited to a Service at the Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Saturday, October 14^th, 2023 at 11:00 am. A light lunch will follow.
