We were so sad to hear of Auntie Joan’s passing. We’re thinking of you all at this very sad time.

I remember being amazed by her quilting expertise when visiting Vankleek Hill. An earlier memory though, was the clickety clack of knitting needles … rest well Auntie Joan. x

Our thoughts are with Janine, Tom, Peter and all her grand (and great) children at this time. What an amazing life. I will always be grateful to my Auntie Joan - we often kept in touch through email and I would send her pictures of our two boys especially when she knitted them their bobble hats which they both loved. I have fond memories of her when she used to visit when my nan was with us and when we visited Canada when I was young. Always in our thoughts.
