Obituary of Margaret Stewart Wyss

After a long and happy life, Margaret Stewart Wyss (née Fenwick) of Vankleek Hill passed away peacefully at the Winchester Hospital, surrounded by her children on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Adolfo Wyss. Loving mother of Jacqueline (Greg), Terry (Nick), Ellen, Bill (Michelle) and Anne (Jim). Dearly loved Grandma of Jack, Linden, Samantha, Charlotte, Rowan, Lilly, Venn, Valen, Ashley and Megan.

Margaret was born in South Shields England, then married Adolfo and raised their five children and lived a long happy life in Canada. Margaret was well loved in her community and had many friends, she will be greatly missed. She will be fondly remembered by the members of the Women’s Institute and the Anglican Church.

Family and friends may visit at the Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Wednesday May 17, 2023, from 12 Noon to 1:45 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2 pm at the St John’s Anglican Church 5845 HWY 34, Vankleek Hill.
