Peacefully on Thursday, October 20,2022 at the May Court Hospice Ottawa with her family by her side Dawn Jackson of Ottawa passed away after a valiant battle with cancer at the age of 47. Beloved daughter of Donna Cummings and the late Tom Guindon. Loving wife and best friend of Mike Jackson.  Devoted, proud and caring mom of Montana.  Dear sister of Kim Monkhouse (Rob). Cherished granddaughter of Elsie Cummings. Dearly loved Godchild of Sandra Cummings. Dawn will be sadly missed by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, and cousins. She is fondly remembered by her mother-in-law Louise Patrice, father-in-law David Jackson (Linda Tremblay) and her sister- in-law Chrissy Dubreuil (Steve). She will be missed by her furry friends Rocky, Cali and Fluffy.

Dawn was an avid sports fan and loved SF 49ers. She always enjoyed spending time with her family at the lake. Dawns determination and strength will never be forgotten.The family would like to thank Dr. D’Aoust, Dr. Malboeuf and the Staff of the May Court Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Dawn’s Life on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club 136 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill. In honour of Dawn's love of sports, if you wish, please wear your favourite sports jersey. 

 In memory of Dawn a donation to the May Court Hospice Ottawa, 114 Cameron Street, Ottawa, ON  K1S OX1 would be appreciated by the family.

A Tree of remembrance for Dawn will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest, Vankleek Hill.
