Friday February 5^th, 2021 Horst Freier of Vankleek Hill passed away at his home at the age of 86. Horst was born on March 14, 1934 in Blaubeuren, Germany to Otto Freier and Frida Freier (Heckmann). Loving father of Rolf Freier, Dr. Kiti Randall (Dr. Mark), Heidi Clarke (Alan), Rebecca Sukharev (Mikhail), Danette Saunders (Ross), and Elita Primeau. Dearly loved grandfather of Colin, Nadia, Lola, Victoria, Heather, Dylan, Caleb, Aaron, A.J., and Andrew. Dear brother of Dieter Freier. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased in death by his 1^st wife, Maiga Freier (Dorn), 2^nd wife Liebgard Freier (Thonigs), and brother Rolf Freier.  Horst was very active in his church and a beloved bible teacher.  He was also a well-known and respected electrical and general contracting engineer.  Horst lived his values of generosity, perseverance, a strong work ethic, and an unwavering Christian faith.  He was a pillar of strength to many in his family and in his community.
