Condolences
Well i just found out that my old friend passed away, i offer my sincere condolence to the familly and friends. Horst was an inspiration in the name of the lord. Sincerely. Louis Poirier Hawkesbury
Well, I have tried on many occasion to visit Horst at his new home off Hwy 17 and lost track until today when I thought - Type ''Horst Freier Hawksbury'' since at one point he invited me to visit his Church. We have ha a wonderful on and off relationship starting when he helped me wire my home in Glen Nevis (since then, I have not been afraid of tinkering in the subject) Horst was such an amazing well of technical information that I would stop often at his beautiful home, think it was Cassburn road from Vankleekhill. One day I asked him ''where is your septic Tank?''and he could not tell me! At this point in my carrier I was working at Alfred college for Guelph University on waste water research so this subject was familiar to me. Eventually he said that he did not know exactly where but we both picked some shovels and found the edge of the tank then the lid. He confessed laughingly that he had forgotten all about it and I ordered him to call the pumper the next morning!
Lost a good friend with Horst passing away Eric

Dear Kiti, Rebecca , Danette, and Elita.. Our deepest condolences for your loss . Having attended Lee's funeral service , I was once again grieved by the sad news of your father's passing . Viewing the service recordings on line kindled the memories of many years of joyful gatherings . My prayer is that your heavy burden of sadness at this time is uplifted by the assurance that..."Regardless of what happens in this life , God is still and constantly in control ". Though today to us .. the love of many through death did sever ...tomorrow in trust ..the love of many will be enjoyed forever an forever !

My deepest sympathies to Dr. Kiti and her family. I hope the planting of this tree will give you some comfort and peace.
Dear Kiti and family. Paul and I were blessed to meet your father many years ago. I am blessed to have seen him in his home fairly recently. Even though 30 years had passed in between, he was the same kind, wise and generous man as always. And he even looked much the same! He will be much missed as he is much loved.
Thinking of you all with love and support.

Such a beautiful remembrance of Horst, of life and the celebration of scripture! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful person with all of us- “For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them”~
Dear Kiti, Your father was my spiritual mentor. He was always available to discuss theological issues and made them very simple in the light of the gospel. He would even take the time to bring some of his resources from his library to Hawkesbury to show them to me. I will always remember him with his smile. We have lost a GIANT in the faith! He also showed me his courage and lack of animosity in the end with everything that went on with Hawkesbury. What a great Man of God! My sincere condolences to your family.

Dear Kiti and family, my heart goes out to you for your loss in this terribly difficult time in the history of the entire human family. This is a terrible loss, because your father occupied such a large space in all of our hearts. Your father left an immense legacy that only time will reveal. I remember him as indeed a tree solidly planted in kindness, warmth, joy, and integrity. You were so blessed to have such an father! As you said Kiti, you don’t understand why he passed away, when he was still so full of life. But I firmly believe that death is the domain of our common enemy, and that whatever this enemy has meant for evil, God can turn around for good. I had a father like yours, and when my father passed away, that is when God was able to reach me with His love, and it was after that huge loss that I finally returned to my Creator. My father’s light continued shining on even after his death, and your father’s light is a beam that will bring many to the Lord still. My prayer is that this will be a great consolation to you at this time, and that someday soon your tears will turn into joy. All my love to you and all your family members. With much love always, Denice.
Although I did not personally know your Father, I was blessed with his writings that you have shared with me over the years. What a wonderful, loving, godly Father, husband and man Mr. Frier was. Beautiful service today and beautiful tributes both in speech and song. God's rich blessings and comfort for Mr. Frier's loving family. Vivian Field
Rebecca, Kiti and family,

My deepest sympathies for the family and friends of this truly extraordinary gentleman. Although he is with our Father in heaven, his great faith and love remain in this world because he made a deeply meaningful impression on everyone who knew him. May his strength and the many, many happy memories shared with him bring comfort to the pain of his loss.
My name is Avonaé Gentles. I am one of the Reach Out and Care Missionary Movement (ROCMM) missionaries from the Kitchener-Waterloo SDA church. I visited Hawkesbury SDA in summer 2019, and I remember Horst as a spiritual man with a Christlike character, always willing to help those around him. He was kind and caring, especially to his wife, whom we visited and sang to at the nursing home. His presence will be missed, but he has left a shining light in the hearts of the people he interacted with.
My sincere condolences to the family, friends for the loss of my dear friend and confidente. We had special moments together meditating on what our purpose in life was all about. How we will all be reunited with our Heavenly Father. Looking forward to seeing you at that moment, but for now, I will live with the lovely moments we had together. Go my friend you deserve this peaceful moment of rest.
My deepest sympathy to the family, my prayers are with all of you, just keep in mind that one day we will all meet again.
Our sincerest condolences. Our prayers are with you all. We pray that you will take comfort that he sleeps now and will awaken when Jesus returns.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of this great man! God did a great work in you Horst Freier! We praise God for your testimony brother Horst; for finishing well and a job well done. You will be sorely missed!
I am so sorry for your loss !
My memories of Horst was as a very strong , but loving man, who welcomed friends of his children into his home with open arms. He was the best father that he knew how to be, and often lent his skills and talent as a contractor to their homesteads. He smiled when he talked about how amazed and so proud of the adults his children turned into.
He absolutely adored his grandchildren. They were his ultimate pride and joy.
I hope his family finds comfort in their memories of him.
Continue to tell his stories and comfort each other ❤️
