Dawson, Valerie Helen After a valiant battle against cancer, at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus on Wednesday June 18, 2014 Val Dawson (née Smith) of Dalkeith, Ontario passed away at the age of 64. Predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Dorothy Smith. Beloved wife of Howard Dawson. Loving mother of Cathi (Anthony Hills), Christi (Pierre Tremblay), Karri (John Laliberte) and John (Julie Lecocq). Cherished grandmother of Courtney, Mackenzie, Hayley, Tyson, Tara, Cory and Denver. Dear sister of Lesley Conroy (Ryan). The family wishes to thank Dr. Canil, the staff of the 5th floor and the ICU for their kindness care and support.
