I met Mr. Lawford for the first time in July 2013. His evening zombie cottage games left cherished memories with Amy and Molly and my own three grandchildren. His child sense of play will be fondly remembered.

Two years ago, while I was recovering from my second cancer surgery, I regularly met Mr. Lawford on my daily walks and his sereneness and soothing words were very comforting for me at the time.
