We are thinking of all of you with deepest sympathy. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Yesterday my grandfather passed away from this earth and was welcomed into his heavenly home.
He was a man who was good at many things, but of all these things he was truly the best at being a grandfather. He always had time for his grandkids and had a special relationship with each one of us. I can still hear his voice welcoming me "Here comes trouble," as I crossed the lawn to the front door. We were always met with a listening ear, words of advice and encouragement and lots of love. We were allowed to join him on his lawnmower, turn his living room into a dance studio, transform their entire home into our playhouse, or bring our friends over to play games. He was always thinking of us and would drive us to school on rainy days and took us out to eat when we visited from university, so he could hear how we were doing. He and grandma reminded us each time we saw them that they loved us and prayed for us every day.
Perhaps one of the most beautiful lessons he taught us was how to love your spouse. His love for grandma was genuine and unwavering and he took many opportunities to tell us what an amazing wife she was to him. I am not surprised God chose to take them home close together- some things just shouldn't be separated.
I can never express how much I loved him or how much love He showed me. I have often feared the day he would leave this earth because I could not imagine life without him, and today we are grieving the loss of this wonderful man as our family is forever changed; but we have hope and peace that we will see him again-death is not the end.
"Oh death where is your sting? Our resurrected King has rendered you defeated."
Jean/Joan and Family On behalf of the Leroux family, I would like to express my deepest sympathy on the loss of your Dad. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Lynn Gillette(Leroux)

Jean, Joan and families --His battle is over. He is in a better place and with your Mom. Just think of the reunion there will be with family and friends. Girls you did a wonderful job taking care of your parents, you will never regret time spent with then although some days you may have wondered how you would get through the next day. Take care of each other.
