Condolences
One thing Chris and I loved was food, especially Manzo Pizzeria, "number 13 with sauce on the side".
We would bring it back to Chris's place and "try to find a place in the kitchen to eat". Ahh good times I think of you often and miss you brother from another mother
Chris was a very generous and kind neighbor. It was always a pleasure to discuss his passion for nature; from wild mushrooms to maple syrup. I will always remember his generosity.
Sincères condoléances to Chris' family. He was a very kind and generous person. A very good neighbour with the value of sharing and community. Share vegetables, teach about mushrooms, give good advices about various things. We are confident that he now rests in peace. His presence and smile will stay with us in Verdun.
All my condolences to the family. I met Chris 7 years ago when we arrived in Verdun. Chris was definitely the best neighbor possible. We all appreciated his sense of humour. We exchange some vegetables grown in our respective gardens. He gave us a lot of gardening tips. It was very inspiring to feel his passion for his garden in Rawdon. His patience was also very inspiring. This spring he came up with the best Maple sirup (his own) we never tasted because he would boil it less then the commercial one. This way it was less sweet and we could better taste the wood flavour. We keep very vivid memories of Chris joy when he was eating pancakes with us in our house. His pancake recipe will, form now on, be Chris' recipe. Chris also helped my research group a lot with the printing process. You can find the publication here (Chris' name is on the reverse of the cover page): http://issuu.com/objectivites_sociales/docs/documentissuu/1?e=0/1129904 I could tell you so many more good memories about Chris... The day he arrived by bus from Rawdon with 2 huge pack sacs filled with zuccinis. His Pick up truck was broken and he had come all the way on that rainy day back to Verdun. He then offered us a lot of nice zuccinis. He was certainly generous. I am glad to see his picture here. I am sad we never took a picture together. Best and kind regards, Maxime G. Langlois

Our Sympathies - May Chris rest in peace. He will always remain in our thoughts and our prayers. The Rabiasz Family.
When our family first immigrated to Canada in 1965, Bolek, Henia, Chris and Andy hosted us. I have many memories of going down to watch TV at the Ciasteks', watching Chris and Andy come home from fishing trips with all sorts of catch....Chris and I were in the same grade;I think I still have an old first communion or confirmation photo;it's hard to believe he is gone. My sincere condolences go to Andrew and family.
It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of Chris. Chris will always remain an important member of the Ciastek family as well as to his friends. May you find peace and fullfillment in your new life Chris. You will always be remembered for your willingness to give as well as your ongoing devotion to family and friends. Peace and love always Randy and Nicole
Our sincere condolences on the loss of your brother and our cousin. Chris was a unique individual, with a stong will, a good heart, a helping hand, a kind word, and we will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. "While its hard to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow."
Our condolences on your loss.
Our heartfelt condolences on your loss, Andrew. We will always remember Chris for the kind, gentle and good man that he was and rejoice all the times we had with this "quirky" friend, who came through for us and brought cheer into our lives. Chris got us hooked on garlic and, thanks to him, we have a thriving patch in our garden. We are enjoying those memories, not because it's the right thing to do, but because we know deep down it's what he would have wanted us to do. May Chris rest in peace. Karina and Michael (Lake Brennan, Rawdon)
Chris was a good friend who could be counted on in times of need. He will be missed by many.
My deepest sympathies and condolences , a great cousin , Chris would have a good time whenever anyone would come down to visit him he would share his experiences and would always make time to help someone out ,he will be greatly missed by all friends and family.
Chris was the most generous person I knew and if you needed help with anything he was there, our own personal superhero. Chris always had three of everything; three toasters, microwaves etc.. I once asked him, why three? he replied one is to use and the other two are for parts, but he would always end the sentence with would you like one. I will miss you my dear friend.
my thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.
We are deeply sorry to hear about the death of Christopher, Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. Majed & Fadya
