Obituary of Joan Marchant-Potter

MARCHANT- POTTER, JOAN " When a loved one becomes a memory, a memory becomes a treasure. Treasure the memory" The memory of Joan Marchant Potter, who passed away peacefully January 17, 2013, will be one treasured by those fortunate enough to have known her. Loving mother of Terri(Frank), Scott(Sandra), Laurie(Ken), stepmother of Steve(Wendy)and devoted grandmother of eight. Predeceased by her husband Harry, her brothers Earl and Keith and her sister Eileen.Survived by her brother Orwill and her beloved younger sister Diane. Joan was always on the move, whether biking miles as a youth, or line dancing and bowling (and shopping with Helen) later in life. She loved to garden and spend time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched. Her presence in life has left an indelible mark on those around her, a mark that shall never fade, even with her passing. A very special thanks to the staff at the Prescott and Russell Residence for all their loving care and compassion. A Memorial Service in Celebration of Joan's Life will be held on Saturday March 2,2013 at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Church 14 Mill Street, Vankleek Hill, Ontario.
