Obituary of Helen Alberta Pinkham

Helen Pinkham (Née Dean) (1925-2012) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her 4 loving daughters on Thursday, December 27, 2012 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Lyndon James Pinkham. Proud and devoted mother of Lynne (Bruce Scott), Penny (Marcel Lavoie), Pat (Peter MacKinnon) and Janice (Allen Cunning). She was known as "Nan" by her ten grandchildren: Heather, Jamie, Ben, Nicholas, Melissa, Katie, Mike, Trevor, Mike and Jen and "Old Nan" by her 6 great-grandchildren. A testament to Helen's quiet generous nature were the countless hours she volunteered with organizations such as The Lakeshore General Hospital, The Canadian Cancer Society and Meals On Wheels to name a few. Thank you to Ninnu, a special friend who spent many happy hours with Helen. The staff at Vigi Santé, D.D.O. added to Helen's quality and enjoyment of life, something our family will always be grateful for. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, Ontario on Friday January 4, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 11: 30 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Helen's life at 12 p.m. at the Hawkesbury United Church, 260 McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario.
