With great sorrow and a deep sense of loss, the family announces the peaceful passing of Freda Simmonds of Hawkesbury at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus on Wednesday, May 20,2015. Hers is a genuine, beautiful soul. Daughter of the late Gilbert and Wilhelmina Barton. Predeceased by her loving husband Edward. Proud and loving mother of Larry, Rilla and Greg. Cherished grandmother of Aran (Adam). Dear sister of Eric (Tena) and predeceased by brothers John (the late Edna), Lloyd, James, Blakely (Eileen), Stuart and sisters Ruby (the late Phil), Olive (the late Stanley) and Theo (the late Oliver). Dear aunt to her much loved nieces and nephews. In honour of Freda’s wishes, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
