Condolences
My sincere condolences to the family of Louise. She was my friend and I was so sad to hear of her passing. Louise always took the time to check in on me and say hello. Her room was just down the hall from mine and her presence will be dearly missed. God Bless Louise and her family. May she rest in peace. Love, Theresa
Knowledge is power. Words of advise Grandma would tell many times as a young boy. I remember watching a kids game show called "where in the world is Carmen Sandiego" at grandma and grandpas house when we were very young and that was the first time I heard grandma tell me, knowledge is power. I never really understood what she meant back then but as I grew older and went to school and eventually found a career, I truly started to understand what those words meant and why Grandma was always telling us that. She wanted the best for all her children and grand children and I have to say that she did pretty darn good with all of us as I dont think there is another family with so many smart children with the knowledge to succeed in life no matter what all of us are doing. I am so proud of all my cousins and brothers and the while family and none of this would have been possible without Grandma and I truly believe the words she spoke hit home with all of us grandchildren and really helped to make us the people we are now. I thank u Grandma for all the support and encouragement and motivation to be the best we can, I will truly miss u and the talks we have had and the visits over the years. I can remember almost everything about the summer trips out east and she was a huge part of that. Many children are excited all year for Christmas and birthdays but if u ask my parents, I was excited for summer time cause that meant we were travelling east to visit Grandma and Grandpa and that was truly the best time of the year for me. Dont get me wrong, it was also very nice when they came to see us out west and we got to show her the mountains of BC and some of the cool cities like Banff and Fairmont, but there is nothing better in the world when u are young and going to Grandmas house! It was some of the best times of my life and memories I will cherish and think of forever. I am so proud to be a Redmond and so happy to be part of this wonderful family that all started with Grandma (Grandpa helped but he never had to give birth to five children haha) and to see the family that has grown from her is awesome. I will miss u immensely Grandma and I will always remember all of the words u said and lessons you gave me but mostly I will remember the love u gave me. I am so lucky to have had u in my life, grandma. Now go and enjoy sometime with Grandpa!
Love Ryan.

Hi Cathy and family, I'm terribly sorry for the loss of your Mom and Grandmother. These times are tough and it is the strength of your family and the values your Mom passed on to you that will keep you strong. Thinking of you, The Forestells.
To my dearest gal-pal Cathy, and the Redmond family,
Although I have only known Cathy since Ottawa (1986), our kindred spirits of 'Hawkesbury-days-gone-by' have significantly impacted & bonded us in memories about growing up "simply".
I adore you so very much, Cathy. I know you to be a constant liaison/connectedness to all family. I also know that you have given your loving Mother 'the best years-of-her-life' since the passing of her husband; your father.
AND, I know... If you had to do it all over again?... you'd do it all and more without hesitation. I totally admire your strength and commitment to family.
Regretfully, I am unable to be at your side... but I am thinking of you. I do look forward to when you & yours will visit....
With sincereity & loving affection,
Cathy (Matheson) & George (Huard

There are no words that can take away the sadness but if you focus on the wonderful life your mother lived and what a great mom she was to all of you, it lessens it just a bit.
Cathy, I was so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. A Mother brings so much love and joy to a family, that will never be forgotten. Always keep her close to your heart and remember all the fond memories. Take care and God bless. Sincerely, Danielle

I can’t comprehend just how sad you must feel For the loss of someone you love. This sorrowful time must still feel unreal And you’re looking for strength from above. I hope, from my heart, that your pain will decrease, That your spirit will gain strength again, And I pray that your faith will create inner peace And that God will send blessings. Amen
