Condolences
Please accept my condolences on the loss of Mrs. B. She was a genuinely kind and honest person whose warmth and graciousness was a calming influence to me when I stayed with her and Leslie (Mr. L) briefly during a particularly tumultuous period of my youth. She nudged me in the right direction, for which I am eternally grateful. Thank you Betty. Rest in Peace. DW
Dear Mr. McNaughton, Jean and Frankie, Joan and Gregg and your families, I was sorry to hear from Brenda last night about Mrs. McNaughton passing away. I really liked her and respected her. She was such a sweet, kindly lady, - the kind of which the world needs so many more. Certainly she reflected the gentle love of our Lord. I am sorry not to have gotten home for the funeral, but I had another commitment down here today. May God's peace and comfort be with you as you wait to meet again. Sincerely, Alice (Fraser) McAlpine

Sincere condolences to Leslie and the McNaughton family. I have great memories of Betty when I delivered the Ottawa Citizen to their doorstep every day back in the '70's. Leslie and Betty were always so kind and generous and they always took the time to chat when our paths would cross. How blessed you all are to have had this amazing lady in your midst for so long. May your memories of good and happy times bring you comfort in the days that lie ahead as you adjust to Betty's absence in your lives.
With Deepest Sympathy to you at this time.

Our condolences to the McNaughton Family
Yesterday my Grandma McNaughton left earth for her heavenly home- a place more suited for her beautiful, gentle and loving spirit. Growing up next door to her was one of our family's greatest blessings. She was the grandma that stories were made about- always loving and patient with us, she sang us beautiful lullabies, sewed our dolls back together, welcomed each of our friends into her home, made the world's best shortbread and always made you feel deeply special and loved. She and grandpa were an example of true unwavering dedication and love to one another and together they prayed for each of us daily. Despite her health declining and her body becoming weak- she always gave whatever energy she had to show love to us and her great grandchildren when we came to visit. There are many tears as we grieve our temporary loss, but great joy as we celebrate her gain as she is now strong and healthy in the presence of her saviour-knowing we will one day be reunited.
