Obituary of Judy Hester Sproule

Peacefully at home on Sunday February 27, 2011, surrounded by her family and friends, Judy, at the age of 57 years. Beloved wife of John Sproule. Daughter of the late William J. McIlwain and the late E. Hester (McDonald) McIlwain. Survived by her brothers, Harold (Shirley) of Vulcan, Alberta and James (Gay) of Beamsville, Ontario. Predeceased by her brother Emerald (Donna) of Bowden Alberta. Loving daughter-in-law of Helen (late Lloyd) MacLeod of Cobourg, Ontario. She leaves behind her first cousin Ella Marston (Ian), whom she always considered to be her sister-in-life. Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Irwin Sproule (Jean), Linda LeRoy (Arthur), Edwin Sproule (Carolyn), Gordon MacLeod (Diane) and Eleanor MacLeod (the late Ralph) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Judy was a Registered Nurse graduate of the Ottawa Civic Hospital and nursed for twenty years at the Hawkesbury General Hospital. In keeping with Judy’s wishes, there will be a Graveside Service at a later date at Cassburn Cemetery.
