Obituary of Lucienne Ouimet

OUIMET, Lucienne Peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 Lucienne Ouimet (née Giroux) of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 91. Predeceased by her parents Charles Giroux and Beatrice Leroux. Beloved wife of the late Fernand Ouimet. Loving mother of Monique (André Latour), Michel (Linda), Annette (Paul Assad), Louise (Brian McCulloch), Louis (Chantal Delorme), Francine (Richard Laflamme) and André (Julia Fortin-Schwartzenhauer).  Cherished grandmother of Daniel, Stéphane, Benoit, Marielle, Camille, Lee, Marisa, Patricia, Maxime, Sabrina, Sébastien, Madeleine and Natasha. Great-grandmother of Samuel, Olivier, Henry, Zackary, Abby and Rosalie.  Dear sister of Jeannette Durocher, Pauline Poirier, Marielle Lafortune and Réjeanne Giroux. Predeceased by her brothers Jean Charles, Roger and Lucien Giroux. Fondly remembered by some brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. Relatives and friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Sunday May 28, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Funeral will be held on Monday May 29, 2017 at 11 am at St. Grégoire Catholic Church 137 Higginson Street, Vankleek Hill followed by a reception at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club 136 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill. In memory of Lucienne a donation to the Hawkesbury General Hospital, 1111 Ghislain Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario, K6A 3G5 would be appreciated. A special thank you to the nursing staff who took good care of Lucienne during her stay at the hospital.
