Bichard Family, it is with great sadness that I learned of Wayne's passing. Having worked with Wayne for 20+ years through various technical courses, conferences, and committees, I will always remember his easy going nature, willingness to help, his professionalism and his availability whenever he was called upon. I extend you my personal condolences, as well as on behalf of PAPTAC of which he was an active member for many years, particularly the Standards Committee. Carmie Lato

Dale, I was so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. He will be missed immensely. May you and your family find courage and strength in the days and weeks to come. You have many good memories together to think of during your days of sorrow.
Dear Bichard family, Please accept my deepest condolences at this time. One scripture that really brings comfort is that of 1 Corinthians 15:26- "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." Jehovah God will eliminate death and bring back to life our dear loved ones. Death is not a natural part of Jehovah's will. We can be sure of this promise because Jehovah loves us and wants to see us happy.
I worked several years with Wayne, who was one of my key lecturers in courses for the Association. Wayne was the consummate professional who knew his material inside out and could always be counted on to deliver it and handle any questions form the floor. At the same time, Wayne was a quiet, kind and gentle man without a mean bone in his body. The world needs more people like Wayne. Sincerest condolences to Dale and family. Ron & Dody Dines
We were so sad to hear of Wayne's death. He was a sweet and gentle man, and as good a work colleague as one could ever wish for. He was extremely knowledgeable and authoritative in his field of expertise, and always ready to advise or assist, no matter how pressing was his own workday. Throughout our time at Paprican and FPInnovations, Wayne was someone you could always rely on for help - and through my liaison work with pulp and paper mills I know that many Canadian papermakers valued his advice and technical support. He is greatly missed.
My sincere sympathies to your family, he was a kind and gentle person who will be remembered.
