Obituary of Dorothy Elizabeth McCrimmon

McCrimmon, Dorothy Peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Tuesday September 13,2016 Dorothy McCrimmon (née Anderson) of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 84. Predeceased by her parents Leslie Anderson and Florence Fletcher. Beloved wife of the late John Naughton McCrimmon. Loving mother of Ann (Paul), Florence (Jeff), Donald and Mary (Kevin). Proud grandmother of Danielle, Rachael, Maddy and Michael. Predeceased by her brothers Lloyd (Flora), Charles (Margaret), Keith, Russell (Jean) and her sister Eileen. Dear sister-in-law of Madeleine McCrimmon and the late Kathleen McCrimmon. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. In Dorothy’s recent years she resided at the Heritage Lodge where she enjoyed great fellowship and attention. Compassionate care was received from the doctors and staff at the Hawkesbury General Hospital during her final days. Relatives and friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Friday September 16,2016 from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 10 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday September 17,2016 at 1 pm at Kirk Hill United Church followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment Kirk Hill United Church Cemetery, Kirk Hill.
