Peacefully at the Maxville Manor on Wednesday January 13,2016 Lloyd MacCuaig of Vankleek Hill, Ontario passed away at the age of 81. Beloved son of the late Roderick MacCuaig and the late Edna MacMillan. Dearly loved brother of Ken MacCuaig (Jean). Predeceased by his brother Millan and his sister Evelyn Stewart (the late Murdo). Dear brother-in-law of Margaret MacCuaig. Dearly loved uncle of Heather, Darren (Céline), Wayne (Nancy), and Darlene. Predeceased by his nephew Ian. Fond great-uncle of Robin, Shawna, Kate, Cedric and Eleanore. Great-great-uncle of Kayden. Lloyd was co-owner of Clare’s Flowers & Gift Shop in Vankleek Hill. He was well known in the community for his love of flowers and his passion for music. Lloyd played the piano and organ at St. Columba Presbyterian Church, Kirk Hill and long time member of the Lochiel Strings. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Lloyd’s Life for sharing of memories and with musical entertainment provided by Uncle George and Roger Hamelin on Sunday February 21,2016 from 2 to 5 pm at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club 136 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill. A light lunch will be served. At Lloyd’s request a Private Family Service will be held in the spring. In memory of Lloyd a donation to the Alzheimer Society P.O.
