J.P was my boss for years as I worked in several positions at The Review.
My favourite position was labelling the newspaper !
This was done in the wee hours of the morning....... Just "Nasty", J.P. and myself .
Jean Paul was a different boss in those wee hours of the morning...... We joked and laughed our way through the job. ( of course we did, Marilyn was there), He was so relaxed because the paper was ready to be delivered.
One early morning, on my way in for the shift at 2:00am, my car died, on highway 34, just outside the high school. I was about to get out and walk when a policeman pulled over to see what was going on. He told me to leave it there and he drove me on to work where J.P. greeted us at the door.. When the garage opened, he called them to pick up my car. After the shift, I walked over to get my car and face the bill which I could not afford. There was no bill. J.P. Had paid for the repairs.
