Obituary of Linda Skelly

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda "Ma" Thelma Skelly (nee Mace) on October 3, 2024, at the age of 93.  She passed away at Caressant Care Nursing Home with her loving daughter by her side.  Linda is predeceased by her parents George Mace and Annie (Sproule) along with her loving husbands, Terry Skelly whom she shared 52 wonderful years and daughter Anne with, Paul Ravary, her first husband, whom she was married to for 7 years before he passed. As well as her sisters Dorothy Cutt, Isabell Howes, Ethel Cutt, Evelyn Pitt, Freda Howes and favourite Uncle Billy Sproule.

Linda will be deeply missed by her daughter Anne, son in law Marc, honorary daughters Julianne and Sherrie, grandchildren Zachary, Caleb, Ryder, Jacob, Ethan and Abigail and her dog Buddy.

Family and friends are invited to Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, ON, on Tuesday October 8th, 2024, from 9:30 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:30am. Interment at Fenaghvale Cemetery, Vankleek Hill. 

A special thank you to all the PSWs for their love and care while at home, as well as all the care, support and kindness at both Madonna Nursing Home and Caressant Care Nursing Home.

Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.

To honour Linda's memory, a Tree of Remembrance will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest in Vankleek Hill.
