Hughie was such a big part of my childhood that I will always treasure. I will always remember going to "the farm", spending weekends playing outside and going to sleep listening to the parents laughing (mostly Hughie with his unforgettable laugh). I'm thinking of all of you and sending love.

My condolences to family and friends. Hugh was a very nice neighbour. Often chatting with me about his garden and how his wife loved being outside. He was kind and a gentle man and always took the time to say hello to our kids when we were on the porch. He will be missed.
Very sorry to hear of Hugh’s passing. He was quiet and pleasant, as neighbours we saw him often and had spent time with him and his daughter in law snd grandchildren when they visited. Always some classic rock playing when he rolled in from being out and about… we had never met his wife or his sons, but heard lots about them through him. Our condolences to his family.
Spent lots of time at the farm on Brodie with the kids, along with MacDougall girls. Some wonderful memories of outdoor fun. My deepest condolences to you all.
