Obituary of Shirley Sauvé

Sauvé, Shirley (née Laviolette) Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus on Tuesday September 22,2015 Shirley Sauvé of Vankleek Hill passed away with her family by her side at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Sauvé. Loving and devoted mother of Julie Bracelin (Brian), Robert (Sandy Carter), Dinah Pozzi (Joe), Michael (Christine), Peter (Elizabeth Vernier), Cyndy Lefaivre (Jeff) and Stacy (Ann). Predeceased by her daughter Connie. Dearly loved “Nanny” of 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Joyce Lewis and Owen Laviolette. Predeceased by her brothers Claude, Bob, Herbert, Walter and Brian and her sisters Olive Dewar and Patsy Leroux. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Shirley was truly an inspiration to everyone. She never got discouraged with her disability and always had a sense of humour and maintained her independence. Friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Sunday September 27,2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Funeral will be held at St-Grégoire-de-Nazianze 137 Higginson Street, Vankleek Hill on Monday September 28,2015 at 11 am. Interment St-Grégoire Cemetery, Vankleek Hill, Ontario.
