Obituary of Karl Ward

At last, we lay to rest Karl Ward of Harrington, QC who has been called to heaven to be with our Lord.

Karl was predeceased by his loving parents, Elmer and Beryel Ward, and his brothers Marton and Randy (Tina Campbell). He leaves behind his cherished sisters Linda Trottier (Russell Evans) and Karren Ward (Elton Currie), along with many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours who will miss him dearly.

Karl was a gentle giant who spent his entire life on the family farm in Harrington. He was known for his unwavering willingness to help anyone in need, no task was ever too big or small for Karl. His love for children was immense, and he made a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 7 to 9 p.m. A second visitation will be held at the Harrington United Church, 370 Chem. de Harrington, Harrington, QC, on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, a reception will be held at the Harrington Community Centre, 420 Chem. de Harrington, Harrington,QC where everyone is welcome to share memories and celebrate Karl's life.

A Tree of Remembrance will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest in Vankleek Hill as a loving tribute to Karl.
