Mama Cass ,There are so many memories. She would always start to laugh when she saw me. I guess it was a nervous reaction to the huge hug I would give her like it or not. She would always send me off with a care package. Her jams and garden vegetables were amazing not to mention the corn. I married Kevin in 1991 and moved to Cassburn. Maureen invited me to her home for our wedding gift. She took me to the garage and opened two very large chest freezers and said, take anything you want Sandra. They were full of vegetables that she harvested and preserved. I drove away with a full bag and thought, that was the best gift any one could give from the heart.

She inspired me to grow my own garden, but a much smaller one than hers.
