A Tree of Remembrance was planted by Mark and Lisa Henderson and the staff of Hillcrest Funeral Home.
I am sending my sincere sympathy to the family on the loss of your Mother, Ella was the same age as my sister Wilda. I remember visiting her and your Dad.
We are sorry to hear of Ella's passing. She and Ian were great neighbours and welcomed us when we moved to Cassburn Road. Our sympathy to all the family.
My deepest sympathy to all the Marsten family what good souvenirs I will cherish of the best bus driver and wonderful lady!! ❤️
Deepest condolences to the Marston family. I really enjoyed Ella's pea soup. She was a great cook.
My deepest sympathies to Ella's family.
She was an amazing woman and always so generous with her time and cookies.
Ella was a good friend to my mom and was always taking her shopping or just dropping in for a chat.
Rest in peace Ella.
Sharon
My sympathies to the Marston family .i have wonderful memories of her being my school bus driver .such a lovely lady and her smile
My sincere condolences to the Marston family. Both Ian and Ella were wonderful folks. I met Ella after Ian started working for MTO as my wingman way back in 1974. Many good memories and great meals with Ian and Ella at their home on Cassburn Road. They are back together again roaming the country in their camper. RIP Ella.
My sympathies to the Marston family. Ella and my mother were good friends who lived across from each other on Union street for a number of years. Ian and Ella would take Mom shopping in Hawkesbury and stop by for a chat on their way home from church. I have a beautiful framed needle point picture of Hummingbirds that Ella made for Mom's birthday. Ella, like Ian, was kind, helpful and generous with their time & talents. They were often called upon by Mom or one of us to help with some minor emergency around the home. After Mom passed I missed the times I got to visit with them when I'd go down to Vankleek Hill. Ella and Ian are travelling together again.
Marty and I send our condolences to Sydney, Elaine and Kevin, her grand, and great grand children. Ella’s greatest pleasure was hearing from the kids on both coasts and in between. Cooking something special for each one and taking them treats when travelling in the camper.
So sorry for your loss, hope to see you all soon
Karen and Marty
