Obituary of Jeannette Trottier

C'est avec grande tristesse que la famille annonce le décès de Madame Jeannette Trottier (née Duval) de Vankleek Hill le 10 janvier 2024 à l'âge de 86 ans.

Elle étais la tendre épouse de feu Léo Trottier;

la fille de feu Antoine Duval et de feu Marie-Zoé Duval (née Baron);

la mère adorée de Ginette (feu Guy Charbonneau), Jacques Trottier (feu Julie) et Thérèse (Lindsay Lefaivre);

la grand-mère bien-aimée de Guylaine (Jean-Philippe), Éric, Vanessa (Alain) et Rebecca (Greg);

l'arrière grand-mère de Dylan, Amy, Alex, Zoélie, Jaxon, Chloé et Makenzie;

la chère soeur de Roland Duval.

Elle fut prédécédée par plusieurs frères et soeurs.

Lui survivent également plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-soeurs, neveux, nièces et amis.

La famille aimerait remercier de tout coeur le personnel de la résidence Héritage de Vankleek Hill ainsi que le personnel de l'Hôpital Général de Hawkesbury pour les excellents soins prodigués. 

La famille invite parents et amis au Salon Funéraire Hillcrest, 151 rue Bond, Vankleek Hill, Ontario, le vendredi 26 janvier de 10 h à 11 h pour offrir leur condoléances. 

Une célébration de vie suivra dans la chapelle du salon funéraire à 11 h.

Pour ceux qui le désire des dons à la Fondation de l'Hôpital Général de Hawkesbury serait apprécié. 

Un arbre en souvenir de Jeannette sera planté dans la Forêt de l’Éternité McAlpine à Vankleek Hill.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mrs. Jeannette Trottier (née Duval) of Vankleek Hill on January 10, 2024, at the age of 86.

She was the beloved wife of the late Léo Trottier and the cherished mother of Ginette (late Guy Charbonneau), Jacques Trottier (late Julie) and Thérèse (Lindsay Lefaivre).

The loving grandmother of Guylaine (Jean-Philippe), Éric, Vanessa (Alain) and Rebecca (Greg) and the great-grandmother of Dylan, Amy, Alex, Zoélie, Jaxon, Chloé and Makenzie.

Much loved sister of Roland Duval and she was predeceased by several brothers and sisters as well as her parents Antoine Duval and Marie-Zoé Duval (née Baron);

She is survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Heritage Lodge in Vankleek Hill and to the staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital for their excellent care. 

The family invites relatives and friends to Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, Ontario, on Friday, January 26, from 10 to 11 a.m., to offer their condolences followed by a Service of Rembembrance  in the funeral home at 11 a.m.

For those who wish, donations to the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. 

A tree in Jeannette's memory will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest in Vankleek Hill.
