So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a sweet and kind woman.

Mrs. Clark was my Home Economics teacher at VCI back in the late 1960s and definitely my favourite teacher. Learning to sew with her instruction has led to a lifelong love of sewing and I still think of her advice and kindness she showed to me.

My deepest sympathies go out to her family at this sad time.

My deepest condolences to Laurie, David and family. I have many childhood memories of our Lake Placid family trips and weekend dinners. Your Mom was always so welcoming and kind. I'm sure she'll be greatly missed by everyone she knew.

My sincere condolences go out to Dorothy's children, David and Laurie and their families, Dorothy's siblings and her many friends. Dorothy was a very sweet lady and I know she'll be missed by many in the community.

She was my Home Ec. teacher at V.C.I for most of my high school life and was very patient with my lack of sewing skills and made sure I didn't run the sewing machine needle through any of my fingers. She did like that I could cook up a storm and clean up after those wonderful cooking sessions.

I was saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. I remember her from my VCI days and also after her retirement. She was a wonderful teacher and after retirement was a very kind and caring volunteer in the community. It was always a pleasure to run into her when I was visiting Vankleek Hill. She will be missed by everyone in the community.
