Celebration of Life
Condolences
To the Radix family,
So sorry to hear about Bill and our sincere condolences,
It was a great pleasure to have know Bill and still remember meeting him for the first time in Hawkesbury when he came up to us and introduces himself,
We had just moved to VKH and were pleased to meet a fellow Dutchman.
Hard to believe that it was 40 years ago.
We wish all our for Liz to be strong in the coming days.

Dear Ellen and Family, my sincere condolences
My condolences to the Radix family. Bill was an inspiration to Nature Society birders. He generously shared his great knowledge with new members. I will keep fond memories of the bird counts we did with him in the past.

My condolences to the Radix Family at this very sad time
Now the two Bills are together again birding like the old days.
43 years ago my brother-in law Bill, said he was going to take my son, who was 3 years old at the time, and myself blue berry picking. He took us to the bog, which was wet and muddy. No blue berries. My pink ballerina shoes ended up filthy. Bill carried his 3 year old nephew on his shoulders the way back. Even after all this we had a fantastic time with all his hiking friends we always talk about. Thank you Bill and Liz for all what you did for us. Doug always said "let's go see your sister and Bill". Love and miss you. Nellie and Joel Morgan XOXOXO
Condolences to Liz and the Radix family!
I met Bill through the Inter-provincial Bird Association where he would be selling and/or buying canaries at our auctions! He was always kindly willing to share his bird knowledge to anyone and everyone!
He then introduced me to the VKH Nature Society and I will always remember 26 years ago when he took a group of us by compass into the Alfred Bog (no boardwalk back then). We had almost arrived at the centre of it when a storm brewed up suddenly! He got us out of there so fast and only with the use of his trusty hand-held compass (no GPS or cell phones back then). He was an amazing character!
He will definitely be missed!

Heartfelt condolences to the Radix Family of Vankleek Hill. I have many fond memories of Bill during my years of growing up in The Hill. From giving me good tips when I delivered the newspaper to their home to tips on bird watching...he was always pleasant and friendly. May the memories of great times shared together bring Bill's family and friends peace and comfort as you adjust to his physical absence in your lives.

My sincere condolences to Liz and family on Bill’s passing…always a nice gentleman.
Lieve Liz, gecondoleerd met het grote verlies van je man Wim, and the children, and
grandchildren with the loss of their beloved Father, and Grandfather.
I loved Bill’s sense of humour, and looking back the great times we had at the Dutch club, and all the card games.
Ik wens je (jullie) heel veel sterkte.

Dear Liz and family. Our hearts are saddened to hear the passing of your dear Bill. He was a great man. Always smiling and had a kind heart. Kirby enjoyed curling with him and we both enjoyed talking with him. He will be missed. Take care. Debbie& Kirby
Our deepest condolences to Liz Ellen Johanna and Jacob. I met Bill on my first day at Ivaco and always admired the wisdom he shared with me or anyone who asked
His knowledge of the rolling mill was surpassed only by the love of his family and of all birds
I was always happy when we were matched to play black queen on our regular Dutch meetings before the Covid
Rest in Peace Bill
It has been a privilege to have known Bill, a good man and a friend, a family man and, most of all, a loving husband for my dear friend Liz. I'm sure that there's a place in heaven for Bill to plant his lettuce and watch the birds. In our thoughts, Linda Hansen and Jay Shink
Johanna & Family-
Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Rest in peace dear Bill, you will forever be remembered as someone we found intelligent, interesting and unique, and very much loved as a neighbour and most of all as a friend.
My deepest sympathy Liz and to the family.
Thinking of you all at this sad time.
