Barry was a long-time employee of Abbott Laboratories in Montreal, where he lived all his life, just recently relocating to Ottawa this past summer. He had a love and great knowledge of musical theatre and took many trips to NYC to see Broadway shows. He was known at work as “Abbott’s man on Broadway”. He was a long-time supporter of The Centaur Theatre in Montreal. He had a love of travel. He experienced many train tours throughout Europe and enjoyed cruises with family and friends.
Barry had a gentle, thoughtful, and generous spirit and will be deeply missed by our whole family, including the dogs, who loved the treats and toys he always brought for them. He always mailed boxes of candy and chocolates to the children for Halloween and Easter, and never missed a birthday.
Per his wishes, a Celebration of Barry's life will take place next summer, along with interment of his ashes, when his family can be together.
