Captain Ronald Wiltse Livock
1930 – 2023
Retired RCAF
On September 7, 2023, at the age of 92, Ron Livock passed away peacefully at the Perley Rideau Veterans Health Care Centre, Ottawa. Ron was predeceased by his wife Muriel (née Cameron) and parents Frederick and Mary (Reasbeck). Caring and loving father of Anne Sprackett (John), Debra Maracle (Steve), Ronald (Darlene), and Sandra MacNeil (Marv). He was blessed with five grandsons, Sean, Nigel, Brett, Tyler, and Alexander Joseph (AJ). He was proud of his six great grandchildren Liam, Owen, Levi, Emma, Arianna, and Maverick. He is survived by his four brothers, Gary (Francis), Harvey (Jean), Leigh (Georgia), and James (Elizabeth). He will always be remembered by his many nieces and nephews and Muriel’s family.
Ron spent 25 years in the Canadian Air Force last based at Trenton. He was a Korean War vet, served a year in Egypt, trained US forces in North Carolina and his travels as a navigator took him around the world. After retiring from the military, he had a second rewarding career in the civilian airline services retiring at the age of 62. He enjoyed his retirement with Muriel doing what he enjoyed most, cottage life, and exploring on his snowmobiles and ATVs.
The family would like to thank the incredibly kind and caring staff at the Perley Rideau Veterans Health Care Centre.
At Ron’s request there will be no visitation or service.
