Condolences
In 1986 I came to Canada to work and meet Ivor, knew a few words in English and Ivor started to bust my rear and then preceded to explain to me how and why. Not only in language, Anything I needed Ivor was there to help. Went on Bike rides, some Sunday mornings we had to go and look for our cars those were fun Saturdays. Ivor even hooked me up with a realtor and I moved out of the city. Then I changed job and about a year after moved because of new opportunities, this was bevor email and texting or social media and I was to lazy to maintain contact. But with all the things Ivor thought me and all the laughs he was never forgotten. Today I finally looked up the name and this is what I found. To Ivor family and friends my condolences and to Ivor, I’ll look you up on the other side I promise rest in peace my friend
Dear Ivor you will be missed condolences to the family
Very sorry to hear of Ivors passing. We worked together for a brief time in life. He was a good honest man and I had a world of respect for him.
To my dear Ivor, thank you for being part of my life's journey, for agreeing to move west to Ontario and settle in St. Eugene, to buy a house with one cat in the yard! We had some grand adventures together, most noteworthy was the 'Run of the Roses" a motorcycle trip in 1991 through the United States and Canada. Your nickname was McIvor because you could fix anything! Chris Brown, your friend of 33 years said it all. Ivor was a 'One Of' and will not be replaced. He was a very loveable man. All things must pass and until we meet again, 'see you later alligator.' With love from Maggie and Donald and her children, Wendy, Andrew and Allison
Good bye my grumpy d friend
I will miss your jokes and your soft heart(that you liked to keep hidden.)
.
Hey good friend we add so many memories we will always love you
Well my dear friend you have left us with many wonderful memories. You will be missed. I’m sure Your have a great time up there with your kitty cats and having a cup of tea with your sister and nephews.
My dear dear friend
My heart broke when I heard. We would talk for hours about
everything and nothing. Going for lunch in Pointe Claire by the river,
then taking long car rides. Bringing me your first rose from your garden.
You were very close to my heart
‘Til we meet again
