Obituary of James Walsh

February 3, 1945  -  May 25, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Walsh of L’Orignal at the age of 78. He left us peacefully at home with those he loved by his side. Jim was predeceased by his parents James Patrick Walsh and Eileen Walsh nee Dickenson. He was the loving partner of thirty years to the late Joan Brown. Jim is survived by his cherished partner Joan Barnes. “Uncle Jim” will be lovingly remembered by Joan’s children whom he considered to be his own. Paula (Larry Hernandez), Patrick (Shawna) and Melissa (Owen Mayhew). Special “Uncle” to Mary Jo, Amelia, Morgan (Kaylah), DeLaney, Caden and Rylan. He will be sadly missed by his adopted Barnes family especially Donald and Florence. Jim is also survived by cousins Joe and Grace Walsh, Michael, Lisa and Emily Gosselin. He will be missed by his loyal dog River and precious cat Abby aka After Burner, AB.

Jim had a long career in sales. First in the international sales of electronics for RCA/ Spar Aerospace followed by many years as a realtor in Eastern Ontario.

As Jim wished, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
