Condolences
Dear Bruce: We were so sorry to hear of Mildred's passing. Please accept our deepest sympathy.
Mildred was a kind neighbour on Pleasant Corners Road and respected colleague at Pleasant Corners Public School. She treated her students well, something which I as a young teacher wanted to emulate. May you rest in peace, Mikdred, knowing that you made a difference in the lives of many. Eva and John Tollis
The Vankleek Hill Historical Society is very grateful to Jack and Mildred. Our ongoing storm window project at the Vankleek Hill Museum is a lasting tribute to their kindness. Children who visit the Museum have enjoyed trying on some of the many hats that Mildred donated from her own collection. I enjoyed all my conversations with this loving couple, and I know they quietly supported many projects that benefitted our community, in particular for children. Please accept our sincere condolences. They were each one of a kind, and they are together again.
So sorry to hear about your loss, our thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow

John and Eva Tollis made a donation to OTTAWA HUMANE SOCIETY
Thinking of you. We know Mildred loved her dogs so we thought a donation to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated.
Thérèse bélamger-Dunsmore made a donation to FONDATION DE L'HOPITAL GENERAL DE HAWKESBURY AND DISTRICT GENERAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION
During this difficult time I would like to extend my most heartfelt sympathies. Mildred and Jack were my very good neighbours for many years and their friendship was always very much appreciated by my family. Sincerely, Thérèse
