Condolences
After my husband Don died (Jim's cousin), Jimmy would phone frequently to see how the kids and I were doing. I always appreciated those calls, and enjoyed reminiscing with him about days gone by. I learned a lot about the Lewis side of the family. Jim was a master storyteller, and had us all in stitches many times with stories of his antics growing up. He was definitely a people person, and social connections were important to him. I will miss his cheery phone calls and stories. Rest in peace Jim.
Our sympathy to the Lewis family.
My Dad's cousin Jimmy was the only connection I've ever had to my paternal grandmother's family, and he also had relationships with my grandfather's family. I loved to hear his voice on the line when he would call - he always had funny stories to tell. Always enjoyed his visits growing up. Dad liked him a lot. I was touched that he made it all the way to North Bay for my wedding in 2009. I'll miss him. Deepest condolences to his family.
My cousin Jimmy was the last person left in my family who had a connection to my mum and dad. He was always a good story teller and prankster. My mum was his dads sister. Jimmy was not afraid to speak up to my fiesty mum, and she loved and respected him. Growing up he would come to visit and always with some high performance vehicle. He had a kinda weird but very positive relationship with my dad. I will miss him and wish I had done better to keep in touch with him, particularly in recent months.
Sending our deepest sympathies to the Lewis family.
George and Judy.
