Obituary of May MacCallum

Peacefully at the Maxville Manor on Thursday, February 16, 2023, May MacCallum (nee MacCrimmon) passed away just shy of her 98th birthday. Predeceased by her parents John D. MacCrimmon and Sara Campbell. Beloved wife of the late Howard MacCallum. Loving and caring mother of Helen MacCallum (Bob Cameron) and Elaine MacNaughton (Bruce).  Cherished Grandma of Amanda and Brandon (Kristen). Proud great-grandmother of Parker. Predeceased by her sisters Jean Lothian, Gertrude MacCrimmon, Wilma Munro (Ken), and her brother Campbell MacCrimmon. Dear aunt of Wayne Lothian (Linda), Sandra Stott, Sylvia Lothian, and Joan Lothian. Fondly remembered by her extended family and many friends.

A  very special thank you to the nurses and staff of the Maxville Manor for their wonderful care and compassion they provided to "Miss May" over the years. Thank you also to the Heritage Lodge staff for their care and kindness.

Friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, from 6 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 11 am in the funeral home. Spring Interment at Riverview Cemetery, Chute-à-Blondeau.
