This lady Ginette was my mother. And no matter the hard times and crisis we always would stay connected. We learn and grow from our struggles. We had a strong spiritual connecion that kept us close no matter where I was or how far away I am. Mom would somehow know without knowing when I was in challenging situations that demanded great inner strength to overcome. In the end it is not what you have done that defines a person' s character. What defines you is your will to survive.
