Obituary of Keith Cameron

August 1, 1929 - December 3, 2022

It is with profound sadness we announce Keith Cameron of Vankleek Hill passed away peacefully at the Maxville Manor on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Jean Cameron (nee Crawford) whom he shared and enjoyed 64 3/4 years. Loving father of Jim (Monte), Heather Bates (Ritchie), Rick (Karen) Kathy Bates (Lorne). Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Debbie.  Special Grandpa to Scott (Jenn), Colleen (Jerod), Mike (Elaine), Jennifer (Carlos), Chris (Janine) and Mallory (Thea). Proud great grandfather of Rory, Teagan, Maximus, Alexandra, Margot and Bexley. Dear brother of Glen (Erna), Stella Howes (Shirley), Ivy Bell (the late Frank), Freda Schweinburg (Carl), the late Lyall (Valerie) and the late June (the late Calvin) Fond Brother-in-law of the late Merlyn Nixon and the late Gordon Crawford.

Relatives and friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Masks will be mandatory.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Hillcrest Funeral Home at 10:30 am. Interment Cassburn Cemetery, L’Orignal, Ontario.  

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
