Obituary of Murielle Howes
Peacefully on Thursday, September 29,2022 at the Hawkesbury General Hospital with her husband, children, and her cousin Carol Potvin by her side, Murielle Howes (nee Duval) of Vankleek Hill passed away after her courageous battle with cancer at the age of 68. Predeceased by her parents Nazaire Duval and Clairisse Laflamme. Beloved wife of 43 years to Merle Howes. Proud and loving mother of Michael (Jenna MacDuff), Charlene Wilson (Gary), Melanie Maclaren (Stuart) and Sandra Howes (Michael Miron). Dearly loved Grandma of Mila, Avery, Ryder, Tessa, Clara, Keith, and Quinn. Dear sister of Mariette Dupelle, Leo, Gaetan (Henryka), Maurice, Yvon, Huguette, Roger (Diane) and Robert (Trudy). Predeceased by her brother Constant. Fond sister-in-law of Wayne Howes (Caroline). Sadly missed by her many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to thank her favourite nurse William, Dr. Di Cintio, Dr. Roy and the Staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion.
Family and friends may visit at St Grégoire Catholic Church, 137 Higginson Street, Vankleek Hill on Thursday October 6, 2022, from 10 am followed by a Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 am. A reception will follow at the Vankleek Hill Agricultural Hall.
