Bangs, John After a courageous battle with illness after surviving a stroke John Bangs of Hawkesbury passed away on Monday May 11,2015 at the Chartwell Champlain Residence, L’Orignal, Ontario at the age of 74. Predeceased by his parents Alonzo Bangs and Floreta Woodhus. Beloved husband of Louise Charbonneau. Proud and loving father of Pierre Bangs (Sonia Cuerrier) and Lisa-Marie Bangs (Yanik Leduc) and also survived by their mother Louise Lacroix. Dear stepfather of Francis Goulet (Elaine). Dearly loved grandfather of Zachary, Chloe, Samuel, Zachary and Jeremy. Fond uncle of Curtis Thompson and Tracey Thompson. Sadly missed by his many cousins. A Christian Funeral Mass will be held on Friday May 22, 2015 at St. Jude’s Roman Catholic Church 372 Genevieve Street, Hawkesbury at 11 a.m. The family will be present to receive condolences from 10:30 am.
