Obituary of Jean-Marc Grenier
On Tuesday, September 20,2022 Jean-Marc Grenier of Hawkesbury passed away at the age of 77. Jean-Marc grew up in Montreal, where he met the love of his life, Susan, when they were both art students in college. They married in1967 and had their two wonderful daughters Chantal (Michael Obas) and Caroline, and two grandchildren Carter and Logan who will all miss him deeply. He was also a beloved brother-in-law to Carol and Mike Purdy of Nova Scotia.
Jean-Marc was an honest and hard-working man who selflessly supported his family with a long career as a self-employed graphic artist.
Decades later, after trading city living for the peace and quiet of Hawkesbury, Ontario, Jean-Marc retired years ago from the local Independent grocer, a place he truly enjoyed spending his days.
Jean-Marc loved his community and it's people. They will always remember him as hardworking and ready for conversations. His legend (and jokes) will live on in his stories and family.
After the tragic loss of Susan in 2021, Jean-Marc's spirit has finally been reunited with his beloved wife of 53 years. May they dance eternally together in peace.
A Celebration of Jean-Marc’s Life will be held privately with family.
