Mrs. Fraser was my family studies teacher at Woodroffe High Scholl- she was always sweet, elegant, knowledgeable and a great mentor.
She brought an interest to me of teaching family studies also. I did go to university and teachers college to return to Ottawa and teach at Laurentian, Sir Guy Carleton and AY Jackson- I did move my career to Real Estate but I never forgot her.
I am sending heartfelt condolences to her family. I am so glad to hear of her travels, dinner club and her adventures.
..... take care and heaven is a lucky place to have you Mrs. Fraser
Cheers, Kim Zidichouski (Zidy)

To the family: My thoughts are with you and have been over the last month or two working with Nigel. I will always remember the kind hospitality received by Gordo and Sandra when Nigel and were lucky to have a chance at a couple nights in Ottawa on a work tour in Ontario. I was lucky and really appreciated being invited over to have dinner with the 3 of you last year (Gordo, Sandra and Nigel) at the house in the early summer. Great company and a nice visit hanging out in the backyard sharing stories with Sandra and Gordo. My deepest condolences. May Sandra rest in peace.

Sandra was not only a colleague at the Ottawa Public Library. She also became a friend. When my husband and I moved into The Bradley retirement residence in Kanata, I reorganized the Bradley library with Sandra's help. I miss my friend and share her family's sorrow.

Some of my favourite times have been at the Fraser house, with Mrs. Fraser- always including me. In particular on Friday nights – which were their family pizza night (a foreign concept for me- my parents would never order out). I loved this tradition so much that I have adopted it with my own family! Every Friday I think about those nights eating pizza in the Fraser family room and going to blockbuster to pick a movie off the shelf. What a gift Sandra left me with – including me in their family every Friday without fail! She will be missed and very fondly remembered! Sending hugs to Mr. Fraser, Nigel, Fairlie and family.

I was a student of Sandra’s several times while attending Woodroffe High School. She was one of my favourite teachers. To this day, I wish I had kept several of the recipes we undertook in Home Ec. She inspired many of us. Her legacy lives on.
Tanya and I are saddened by your loss. We go back a long way and have shared a lot in that time. Please know you are in our thoughts.
Gordie I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear wife Sandy. Over the years I always thought: “those two make a perfect couple!” Stay strong and cherish all the good memories.
To Gordie and their children, the Fraser and the Taylor families:
I am so sorry to hear of Sandra's passing. When I think of Sandra, her parents and her brother, I remember St. David's Church and so many early memories of our childhoods. As I read of the Fraser family members, I also remember high school dances at GDHS after our family moved from East Hawkesbury to Glengarry. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Sandra was such a lovely person. I have no doubt that she will be missed by those close to her.
Our heartfelt condolences to Gordie and all of Sandra's family.
