Merle,
We are very sorry for your loss, we are sad for Cherie. Such a wonderful person.
Meryl and Jackson family, we are very saddened to hear of Cherie’s passing. She was a wonderful lady and we always had lots of fun making pies! We will all miss her very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Our love and condolences to our Jackson family. We met Cherie and Meryl through Neil and Tanya when we first moved to Ottawa. Cherie and Meryl welcomed us into their family and we have spent many a holiday and family dinners with the Jacksons. We will greatly miss Cherie from all those future events, but know you will always be with us.
Thank you Cherie for letting us be part of your family.
Love,
Heather and Darin

Our deepest condolences to Meryl and family.
My heartfelt deepest condolences to Meryl and all of Cherie’s family.
I possess fond memories of Cherie, in working with Cherie at ML Bradleys’ and in how both Cherie and Meryl welcomed myself and my then husband (Keith) into their lives.
I am so very glad I was able to visit with both Cherie and Meryl last summer, after over 20 years, while on vacation. It was just like we hadn’t had the 20+ years between the last time I seen Cherie. I will keep my last visit very close to my heart!
Rest in Peace Cherie you are finally with your boy!
May God help you Meryl and all of Cherie’s family in your time of grief.
Cherie will be greatly missed!
Angie Berghello (formally Clarke)

Our deepest sympathies...... From Dianne Landry and Family.
Ahhhh.... I don't think our hearts can take any more breaking.
My love and thoughts are with you Poppa, Neil, Tanya, Amanda, Mark, Steven, Katie, Ethan and Addison. I wish I could ease all your pain and sadness.
I first met Cherie and Meryl about 17yrs ago and immediately fell in love with them. Over that time I have had the pleasure of hanging out with them many times. Sharing great food, conversation, the odd beer and many, many laughs (usually at Neil's expense haha). Cherie was a very kindhearted, generous, scrappy little thing with a great sense of humour (unlike Neil hehe). A wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandma, Friend and maker of really yummy goodies. I especially loved her butter tarts and she would often send me home with my own private stash (I'm pretty sure I was her favourite lol). So many fond memories.
You will be greatly missed Momma! Love you more than butter tarts. RIP
Lee
It has been almost 30 years since I’ve seen you and the family. You were the mother of the love of my life… it comforts me to know that you’ll see your boy again. You were an awesome human and my heart goes out to Meryl, Neil, Amanda, all your grand babies and every other member of your family. You are a special part of my life and there are nothing but happy memories when it comes to you. Thank you for that. You will be greatly missed. Give Gerry a big hug and kiss for me and if you see my boy, maybe keep watch over him for me…
Sending all my love to you and the family.
RIP Cherie. Xo

There was no one that loved her family and adored her grandkids like Cherie. She had the perfect mix of spunk and a huge heart. She was so important to the community. Thinking of the Jackson family ❤️

I would like to give my deepest condolence to the Jackson family. I'm truly sorry for the loss. I will always remember all the times we would see her and Uncle Meryl at Church.
When I was just a seminary student in the Parish, Cherie was a churchwarden in Vars.
I will never forget how kind and welcoming she and Meryl were to me as I drove around on home visits and on Sunday mornings.
May she rest in peace and may those who loved her find comfort in cherished memories of Cherie.
To Meryl, Neil, Amanda and Family,
I write this condolence with a very heavy heart as I have very fond memories of mother growing up. I remember sitting at the kitchen table with Gerry on numerous occasions, writing 500 lines out on lined paper promising to never paint the dog again. I will especially never forget the day when Gerry backed the school bus into the corner of the shop! I peddled my bicycle home at the speed of light that day haha! She was an amazing woman, strong willed, respected, extremely loved and a significant reason that we young lads tuned out as well as we have.
My love and respect, Lee C.
Meryl and family, my sincere condolences go out to you all. Cherie will be missed by many. I’m sure Gerry will take good care of her now.
