Condolences
A Tree of Remembrance was planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest by Mark and Lisa Henderson and the staff of Hillcrest Funeral Home.
Ann, my sincerest condolences to You and your Family!
I have many fond memories of those "bowling evenings" in the 1960' when I first met you and Hugh.
As well, I will never forget the years that both Hugh and I were Intermediate physical education teachers with the Ottawa Board of Education. Hugh was dedicated, thoughtful and supportive as he took time to share his expertise with me. And those "jiggy-do's", where he also showed me how to debate, stress points and persuade others. A true professional!
Ann I am so sorry to hear of Hugh’s passing. He was my principal at Fisher Heights PS so long ago and then at MetcalfePS.Hugh was so very proud of his family and spoke of you and your “kids” often. He was a friend as well as principal and I am so glad I had the opportunities to work with him. He loved his sports, skiing and the outdoors and was always supportive and encouraging of my Outdoor Ed, intramural sports and camp field trips. He will be sorely missed.
Fondly Mary Hill/Schoones
My sincere condolences to the family. Very sorry for your loss.
