Condolences
I dont know the man but his child pearce is my friend and I feel bad for him
This is what happens when we lose touch with each other. I just found out now and Im very sad to hear the news. My sincere condolences to Cliff's family. We played in 2 bands together, travelled on the road, and he always made me laugh with that quirky smile. He was an exceptional bassman even back in in the 80's. Im glad he was part of my life ,even for a short while. Marty Daniels.
With our most sincere condolences in your loss, we wish also to express our gratitude that you have chosen to honour the memory of Clifford by supporting the work of the Canadian Immunodeficiency Society.
After so long apart, my memories of Cliff came flooding back to me when I heard today of his passing. Cliff was a kind soul. From the photos I can see he loved being a Dad. I wish I had a chance to say goodbye. My heart is very heavy and I am thinking of you Tammy and Bob. Teddy
Cliff and I came to know each other at a very momentous point in our lives, and he will forever be in my memory as a friend and a brother of sorts ...a fellow traveller. I am so glad that our paths came to cross, Cliff. My deepest condolences to family and loved ones.
My heartfelt sympathies go out to you all. I was deeply saddened to hear of Cliff's passing. Love Jaclyn
Our thoughts are with you during this time of sadness. It seems so unreal to think that someone so young has passed from this lifetime. I remember growing up with Cliff, Tammy and Bob living not even a mile away. And it seemed all the boys in the family aspired to be musical but it was only Cliff who was able to develop his talent and share it with all. He was truly unique. He will be missed.
I worked with Cliff in the beginning of my singing career,he loved what he did, took pride in the art of music making and was very kind and supportive to up and coming players. Always smiling...glowing almost. I haven't seen him in years but he is someone who marked me with his joie de vie and that contagious smile. My heart goes out to all that loved him.♥ Angel***
Sandy has many fond memories of growing up with Cliff and spending time together. One, in particular, is around the time he had just started learning bass guitar and how excited he was to share his passion for playing. Even then, his talent was clearly evident; and seeing him so excited and inspired is a memory that will always be cherished. Our thoughts and hearts are with you all during this very difficult time. All our love, Marlene and Sandy
It seems like only yesterday when Cliff came to me for math tutoring so that he could pass his grade 10 geometry course. We were shocked to hear of his passing. May you be spared any further sorrow. Bernie Praw
My deepest sympathies to you Jennifer and family. It was quite a shock to find out. I will miss the crazy talks we had at Bourbon Street West and other music venues. Always had fun talking music with Cliff. What a talented musician and I got to see him perform many times. A real treat to see someone at the top of his game. It was nice to see the glow on his face enjoying fatherhood! Rest in peace Cliff. Brian & Sylvie.

I was very much surprised to learn this morning that Cliff at passed a few days ago. I had the pleasure of meeting him during an interview for an article that was translated and published on Le Net Blues. He was a powerful performer who could cast a spell over everyone in the audience with his Jazz-influenced Blues music playing on a fretless bass guitar. He will be sadly missed. My sincerest condolences to his cherished family and closest friends at this time. I will remember Cliff for his kind and gentle ways and for his musical gifts.
You were a goood friend, Cliff. Our deepest sympathies to Jenn and the kids, and to Cliff's family.
