Obituary of Douglas Stuart MacLaurin

It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas MacLaurin at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022. Doug was born in Vankleek Hill, Ontario on December 14th, 1944. Predeceased by his parents Stanley MacLaurin and Dorothy MacKinnon. Loving wife of Judith (nee Stephens). Much loved father of Christopher (JoAnn), Jason (Kimberly), and Stephen (Amanda Eady). Doug was loved by his grandchildren Ky, Taia, Neve, Toria, Brooke MacLaurin and also loved by his grand dogs. Dear brother of Barbara Barton (late Carl). Predeceased by his brother Archibald MacLaurin.  Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Dear brother-in-law of Eldred and Colleen Stephens and James Stephens.

 

Many thanks to the Staff within the Hematology and Oncology departments at the Ottawa General Hospital for the excellent care over the years.

 

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Saturday, February 5,2022 at 11am at Knox Presbyterian Church, 29 High Street, Vankleek Hill.  Interment Greenwood Cemetery Columbarium, Vankleek Hill, Ontario. Masks are mandatory and social distancing must be respected.
