Obituary of Colleen Ann Roy

Roy, Colleen RN (Née Martin) Suddenly at her home on Thursday March 12,2015 Colleen Roy of Hawkesbury, formerly of Ottawa passed away at the age of 71. Predeceased by her parents Jack Martin and Rita Murphy. Beloved wife of 46 years to Jean Marc Roy. Proud and loving mother of Michael (Sheila), Lisa (Roger Lapensée) and Tara (Jason Geigel). Dearly loved grandmother “Coco” of Mikaela, Christopher, Victoria, Quinn and James. Cherished step-grandmother to Nykola, Krystal, Samuel and Mylanka. Colleen was a dedicated Registered Nurse for over 40 years at the Champlain Residence Nursing Home formerly the Lamarquette Nursing Home and Pleasant Rest Nursing Home in l’Orignal. A Christian Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday March 19,2015 at St. Jude’s Roman Catholic Church 372 Genevieve Street, Hawkesbury at 11 a.m. Interment St. Alphonse Cemetery, Hawkesbury. In lieu of flowers a donation in memory of Colleen to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute 40 Ruskin Street, Ottawa, ON K1Y 4W7 would be appreciated by the family.
